Impact Conference 2022

April 22-24, 2022

Be a Disciple-Maker

The Impact Conference is a ministry of The Shepherd's Church designed to encourage and equip the local church body to be intentional disciple-makers of Jesus Christ in their personal sphere of influence, either locally or globally.

2021 Conference Highlights

Has it already been two months since Impact Conference 2021? Here is Nathan Busenitz to help refresh your soul. You will recall he spoke on Words and Works: Why WORKS Matter Most. Among other things, he said:

“Actions not only speak louder than words. Actions allow your words to speak loudly.”

This week our highlighted video features Pastor Nathan Busenitz. His session was Grounded in Truth...the Sufficiency of the Word Psalm 1.

Join us as Pastor Busenitz looks deeply into Psalm 1 for a contrast and comparison between the wicked and the righteous. Pointing to the centrality of God's Word for making disciples.

"The catalyst and key for proper worship is to begin with the Truth of God's Word."

"The Word of God through the power of the Spirit of God does His work, His way."

This concludes our Conference Speaker Highlight Video Series. We hope this has been a blessing to you and that you are looking forward to next year's conference. Please save the date: April 22-24, 2022.

Wishing you a blessed week! Share this with your friends, family and neighbors.

Last year’s pandemic prevented us from hosting our annual Impact Conference. This year’s conference promises to be the most unique one we have ever attempted at The Shepherd’s Church.

Timely… Theme and Focus

If 2020 taught us anything, it is that as a nation we are more divided and polarized than ever before. It revealed the vast chasm between those who live in the light and those who are in spiritual darkness. It is now the greatest time in history for the Church to rise up and be the people of influence that God has intended for it to be. We will be focused in on the all-important interaction between truth and love as it relates to our impact as the people of God on earth. Every session has been carefully planned around the theme and is designed to flow in such a way that leads to outcome.

Engaged… One-of-a-Kind Gathering

Given the importance of this theme, our objective is to have everyone engaged as active participants and not merely passive listeners. Each presentation will be only 20 minutes in length and we will be seated around tables for immediate discussion and feedback. It has been said that education without application is merely entertainment. Impact 2021 is all about hearing and applying.

Glocal… Both a Global and a Local Emphasis

Impact has always been a glocal event. In other words, it has always focused on ministry issues that are local with global impact and global with local impact. It has never been one or the other. Biblical teaching about biblical ministry is always transcultural. There are always local and global implications that we address. We are sensitive to those in both situations. If you are interested in learning how to have significantly more local impact for Jesus Christ, this conference will be of enormous help to you. If you are praying about moving abroad and want to learn how to be an effective Christian expatriate, this gathering is essential.

Compelling… Speakers and Presentations

Some of the names you will know, some you may not know. However, each has been selected because of the testimony of their lives and the impact of their speaking ministries. They are a unique assembly from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Exclusive Event

This is the only annual event of The Shepherd’s Church to which we call together the entire body. We ask all ministries of the church to pause their programs and activities so that as a body we are together and focused on accomplishing our God-given purpose. While it is a TSC event, we also invite others of like-faith from other churches to attend. They are welcome to be part of what The Shepherd’s Church is presenting. You must be registered to attend this in-person only event. We are providing free childcare (birth-5th grade) on Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday morning.

Why Attend?

This conference is uniquely designed for equipping intentional disciple-makers to build relationships infused with love and truth! This conference is for everyone!

Be Inspired and Equipped

At the conference, you’ll hear from inspiring speakers who intentionally make Jesus known to others in their day-to-day lives. They will share practical insights and provide simple strategies to build relationships infused with Biblical love and truth.

Engage Your Community

We believe you can use your ordinary life to make an extraordinary impact on the people you connect with regularly. From your family members, friends and coworkers, to the people in your neighborhood, community or business networks, we know you can make a difference by helping others know Christ! We hope you’ll join us for an encouraging weekend!

Interact and Pray for Global Workers

The conference will provide an opportunity for you to spend time with the global workers who are supported by The Shepherd’s Church. You will have an opportunity to hear updates from their ministry and learn of ways you can be involved with how God is using them around the world.

Our Theme

We will focus on the balance of Truth and Love.

Advancing the truth and loving those in our sphere of influence go hand-in-hand. Our 2021 Impact Conference will focus on living a life of genuine impact as we put into practice the teaching and lifestyle of Jesus.

Special Guest Speaker - Mark Walker

After sixteen years of serving as a pastor, Mark Walker followed a new calling and launched an improbable campaign for Congress. With no political pedigree or capital, he built a grassroots campaign that centered on a simple idea: PEOPLE OVER POLITICS.

By God’s grace, Walker was successful. Walker was tested, attacked and outspent; however, he refused to engage in mudslinging politics and chose to lead a positive campaign, focusing on hope, opportunity and solutions.
